The Voice Over Artist wanted to showcase his voice acting skills with old-Bollywood style. He pitched idea for Sholay and had a base voice over ready. We worked around that and created characters for that. I pitched a concept of VO artist aka Musafir doing a puppet show so it makes sense to have similar sounding voices and he gets to showcase more various in his voice. The concept finalised to a comedy where the puppet are trying to sabotage his pitch. Below is the process of creating characters and animatic for the final Ad.
The main paint point for this task was getting the face of the character Musafir inline with Manish who is the actual VO artist. We went through several iterations to make sure face and the age matches the actual person. Click on the link in the end to see the final video on Youtube.
